DIG — SET — SPIKE — Three funda- mentals employed by the Raiderettes that led to a successful 13-4 season. The Raider- ettes started the season with a disappointing loss to Class B power Omaha Mercy. The Raiderettes' attitude began to adjust to the loss as they won the next 8 contests. After mental losses to Wahoo High and Cedar Bluffs, Mead swept the ECNC, taking 1st place honor by defeating Waterloo, Fort Calhoun, and Bennington. After winning an exciting game with David City High in the first round action of Districts, they suffered a disappointing loss to David City Aquinas in the Semi-final action. Even though the Raiderettes will lose five starting seniors they are looking forward to the 81 season as they have 7 var- sity members returning. Varsity MEAD — 0. Mercy 15-10,7-15.5-15 MEAD — Ft.
