Boys’ Track The Mead boys track team was a large one this year. They had two boys qualify for the state track meet. Jim Shires and K. Carden were the two qualifiers and Jim came home with a 3rd in the 440 with a time of 50:8. It was just one of the many records the Mead team broke this year. M. Washburn checks to see how far he has thrown the discus. K. Ziegenbein pulls across the finish line first for more valuable points. M. Coady finishes first in the 880, his specialty.
