CLASS PROPHECY In the year 1968-Mr. Lloyd C. Texley is standing in front of Mead High School awaiting the arrival of the Seniors of 1958. They are holding a reunion in the high school auditorium. He first greets RAl PH LANGEMEIER, head of Lange- meier’s Cattle Estancia, and as he shakes hands with Ralph, RICHARD NYGREN, who has been predicted the Elvis Presley of 1968, appears. RONNIE MORRISSEY and LARRY SABATKA, who were the best of friends in high school show up together and they are discussing their work, Ronnie as owner of the Big “M” Company in New York and Larry as Saunders County Sheriff hunting for stolen hub caps. DONALD FISHER who was the senior class’s heaviest boy is now owner and operator of a clothing store for women. DANNY WAGNER is still walking because he hasn't gotten used to driving a car since he attempted a cross country walk to Arizona. GINGER FISHER and JOYCE FLAGLE (JOHNSON) come together. Joyce runs a temper controlling school and Ginger runs a glamour school for unfinished girls; both are working in the same town and so give each other business. Next come BARBARA MOSER and MARILYN HANSON; both are very studious workers. Barbara is a private secretary for Langemeier’s Cattle Estancia and Marilyn is working for Warner Brother's Studios. SUE COYLE, MARJORIE PELLAN, JEAN PELLAN, and SANDRA JOHNSON, who palled around in high school, step inside the building together each with a very inter- esting story to tell. Sue Ann has been a registered nurse in Arizona, Marjorie is coaching a champion volleyball team, Jean was voted Miss Giggles of 1968 and Sandra is mother of the year 1968. Looks like these girls are really prosperous. ALICE EMKEN and JANET OSTERLOH show up together. Alice is an old maid and owner of a big dairy farm in Wisconsin and Janet is a milk maid for Emken Dairy. And last but not least SHARON ELLISON arrives and she has just finished her trip to the moon, which has made her the first woman to travel, to the MOON. Mr. Texley now realizes that this is the Senior Class of 1958. M
