Spirit Spirit Let s Hear It' 125 M 55 A mfg? gi . After attending a week long session at the CWSC cheerleading camp, and three practices a week this summer, our varsity cheerleading squad was ready to get to work on an exciting, hectic, and very rewarding year. Each football game had a surprise theme that would help raise spirit and curiosity for the game. The crowds marveled at the sight of a one and a half mile long car caravan, led by an authentic army tank. Fire engine sirens extinguished the roar ofthe crowd at the touchdown scored at homecoming. A dump truck and a steam-roller were a smash at two of our home games, and finally a semi-truck with a cargo of band members, drill team and cheerleaders leading the cry of Keep On Trucking completed the football season. Echoing through the halls as the classes competed for a spirit banner and spirit keg were the cries of '75.. . '76. . . '77. . .l Gymnastics, boxing and karate demonstra- tions interested all of the audience, while the cheerleaders highlighted and delighted the audience with their Halloween performance of the Monster Mash. This year a new addition was added to the winter season, the cheerboys. These seven new members are: Randy Grover, Chuck J orden, Kelly Constable, Don Jackson, Mike Shirley, Jon Smalley, Mark Perry, and Scott Grover. Beside the everlasting support and cheering given by these girls to all of the sports, they added their own special touch by toilet-papering homes at 5:00 in the morning, decorating bedrooms, and baking goodies.
