Dat's All Folks - Dis Em It - Dar Ain't No Mo' But we sho nuf had ahootin, tootin, knee slappin, jamborin, goot time puddin' togetter dis here book for you all. It was lotsa hard work - but, wif de help of some mighty fine folks witch we sho' preciate - we think we done a purty good job! Seriously, we are proud of the TIGER 85 and we hope you enjoy it now and for many years to come. It is also our hope that you have taken our theme Country Tigers in the spirit which it was intended. We would like to give a special thanks to the following people who have helped us in different ways during the year: Mr. Webb Shivers who allowed us to use ,his beautiful farm to 'make our who's who pictures, Mr. Stanford, Mr. Buck, Mrs. Benton, Mrs. A. Brewer, Mrs. L. Brewer, Mrs. Gann and the Sr. Beta Club, Mrs. Annajerald Knight, Mrs. Poynor, Mrs. Purvis, Mrs. Watkins, Mrs. Wheatley, and the P.T.0. and the many others who helped us. It is hard for us to believe that we have finally completed the job, we began last April, when we attended the Taylor Yearbook Seminar at Millsaps: The one day event gave the new members of our staff a chance to see what they had to look forward to, and also some of what we had to dread, like quad-paks, gutters, bleeding, etc. It also gave us all an enthusiasm which has helped us through the tough times. We did the actual planning for the book in June when we attended the four day Yearbook Workshop at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. We had a good time at the workshop, but we also learned a lot and got a lot of work done. At the banquet held the final day we received one of six Superior awards for the work we had done on our yearbook. Needless to say we were thrilled, especially since we were competing against schools of all sizes from all over the state. Along with the great satisfaction we feel having completed this annual, there is a note of sadness because it brings us closer to the time that five of the six members of our staff graduate. But, we all will remember this year as being special because together we took one thought play up the fact that our school is in the sticks and it's great and We developed it into the Tiger 85. . 689 9 A Q09 o 1180 6 QS Z' ?Z1XYxv9 96 'lb 5o'f:,a9 'gig Q, , 5 'K 1 A ' I' 51, ,S 5.
