One of the most important aspects of the junior high years is guidance. Mr. James Norton is the Director of Guidance and Mrs. Joan Tomczak is our guidance counselor. Congratulations to Mr. Norton for being selected the Ohio Counselor of the Year. Mrs. Perry, Career Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of a career program at Mc- Tigue. New added attraction included clinics and a monthly career article in the School newspaper as well as field trips and speakers in May.

Beginning her 3rd year, Mrs. Louise J. Brower, wears many “‘Hats’’ around the school. Contemporary times and education has caused complex problems which Mrs. Brower handles skillfully throughout each day. Miss Shirley Haney is the assistant principal and Dean of Girls this year. Miss Dale Shelton, school psychologist, provides diagnostic services for students with behavior and adjustment problems.
