Mrs. Louise J. Brower's job as Principal of McTigue placed her in many roles this year- administrator, public relations, school policy maker, and even dean of boys. The principal's position has become much more demanding as school programs and problems become more complex each year. Mrs. Brower was assisted in her work by Mrs. june Garrison, Assistant Principal and dean of girls, who serves as a mediator between school rules and the students. Miss Shirley Haney, Guidance Counselor, became the acting Assistant Principal and Dean of Girls when Mrs. Garrison took a leave of absence from McTigue. . W f' '12

Miss Rhoda Van Scoy, Speech Therapist, works with students to help them improve their speech habits. Miss lama Doenges, Career Coordinator, works with teachers and industries to plan the field trips and guest speakers for the McTigue career program. B fa As school nurse, Mrs. Lela Crawford keeps health records, gives eye examinations, and cares for students who are ill or injured in school. Mrs. Genny Watters,school psychologist, provides diagnostic services for students with behavior and adjustment problems and learning difficulties.
