RE TR OSPE C T10 Hail ilfIcPherron High School. . . The year of 1966-67 is history. Experiences that were so real are now left to memory and once overlooked details are cherished treasures of a time never to be relived. Hats ojflo you. .. Students tried their best to excel- onthe honor roll, music contests, debate trips, livestockjudging, and the list goes on and on- to bring recognition to themselves and their school. There were the exhilirating moments of bright-faced queens and misty-eyed honorees. Bullpups we 're with you. . . Mixed emotions were high with victory andjubilation or defeat. and respect for others' ability. Ceaseless pleasure was gained through the many projects, activities, and fun. And lessons unable to be learned in the classroom made lasting impressions not to be forgotten even though time may elapse. Always we 'll be. . . Those lessons perceived as a person, scholar, or leader will follow all affected throughout lives ventured in any endeavor Frustrations and anxieties which once appeared to be catastrophies were succumbed to a more realistic outlook on the complexities of life. Tolerance of contemporaries reached a mature state as pettiness was bygone. Grueling work paid off with triumph -in personal satisfaction or working as a team. Discovery was made as character was built and determination was exercised. While all the time loyalty reigned supreme. And the conquests are now left as athletes reminisce. I oyalandlrue. . . To perceive the nucleus of knowledge was the major objective. The utmost of effort was desired- and required- to glean the ultimate from the opportunities so readily available. Initiative was uncovered and inquisitive minds searched for the solutions or theories of probing questions, while concentration was ultimately tested to provoke eluding problems and secure wisdom perpetually. Cheerfuland happy. . . Clubs and organizations were vital for a complete education. Lasting friendships were derived from a sense of close association in working together Here 'J lo the school we love. . . Durable memories of fun mingled with laughter will remind us ofcompanions that shared our joy and sorrow. The hall romances, occasional dances, organization trips, studying in the library will all cause ceaseless amounts of lastingness in the closets of the mind. And despite occasionally bruised feelings or emotions of disgust any student with McPherson High as his alma mater will recall his experiences to be meaningful pathways. Here lv a cheerfor thee. . . To the faculty and staff, administration and students goes a warm uthank youl' for helping make the road to maturity smoother As each goes his separate way- never again to merge as a whole- to new walks of life and innovational milestones, the portals of MHS are absorbed in the wake of shadowed, cobwebbed memories.
