Languages taught at MHS serve as a communication tool with foreign tongues. The two modern foreign languages taught are Spanish and German. Miss Marilyn Engle, Mr. Burr Miller, and Mr. Peter Goer ing, instructors, employ techniques in grammar and speaking. Latin is taught by Mrs. Ruth Nirider and not only stresses grammatical aspects, but also brings in cultural and historical emphasis Miss Engle brings in cultural aspects of Mexico to enrich class lectures.
