Curriculum Expands Wz'th Larger Faculzjf Mac0llege's faculty expanded with the addi- tion of three full-time faculty members-Miss Edith Martin, Leland Lengel, and Dr. Wayne Miller. Noel Grove coached debate first semes- ter. Other part-time professors included Mrs. Olson, Mrs. DeCoursey, Mr. Rush, Mr. Sim- monds, Mr. Czaplinski, Miss Engel, Mrs. Brunsell, and Mrs. Ellwood. Replacements for faculty and staff were Miss Shu, Mr. Edwards, Mr. Yingst, and Mr, Reynolds. Dr. Metzler taught one night class. On sabbatical leaves were Dr. Raymond Flory, dean of students, who spent first semes- ter in California, and Miss Doris Coppock, who worked on her doctorate at the State University of Iowa. Others working on doctorates were William Brooks and George Arnold. Dr. and Mrs. Bittinger gave many talks on their world travels and their teaching in Taiwan. DEAN WAYNE F.
