Conzfemlbomgf Lines Dz'sZz'nguz'sh Macampus McPherson College expanded its Qiuad- rangle of buildings to the east side of Lehmer Street by the construction of Metzler Hall, a new rnen's dormitory, housing 158 men. This building, named and dedicated during Home- coming on October 18, honors Dr. Burton Metzler, professor emeritus of philosophy and religion. With this expansion of the men's facilities, Vaniman Hall and the top Hoor of Kline were not used. The contemporary horizontal lines of Metzler Hall's red brick and concrete construc- tion harmonized with the architectural pattern of the three-year-old Student Union and with that of Mohler Hall, Brown Auditorium, and Dotzour Hall. Installation of air conditioning in the Student Union brought this cool comfort to a total of four buildings. Finally a dream came true when the Student Council organized a walk-in book store in the Student Union. . , , . Mohler Hall controls the flow of grades, money, and administra tive affairs.
