Girls Track The girlst track team was composed of one junior, seven sophomores, and six freshmen. They were under the direction of a new coach, Mrs. Heimerdinger. The jump from AA to AAA competition was tough and they failed to qualify anyone for the districts. However, they gained the experience necessary for the future. The gradual transition was made this year with three games being played under fastpitch conditions -' Amelia, Indian Hill, and Withrow. Next year, however, the season will be entirely fastpitch with a state tournament being conducted for the first time. This year the Girlsi Greater Cincinnati League WGGCD e remained slowpitch and the Rockets remained champions. They captured first place for the second year. With six experienced juniors returning next year, the Rockets look for continued success.
