The Rockets were impressive in post-season play, however, as they finished first in the sectional tourn- ament and tenth in district competition. Coach Wentz Takes Charge Of Fighting McNieholas Reserves Coach Eric Wentz led the Rocket Reserves to a 6-7 record this season. The gradual transition was made this year with three games being played under fastpitch conditions -' Amelia, Indian Hill, and Withrow. Next year, however, the season will be entirely fastpitch with a state tournament being conducted for the first time. Special mention goes to Jeannie McClure, whose dramatic performance as Fruma Sarah both astounded and delighted everyone. The orchestra, made of mostly McNickTs own students and graduates, provided the music. John Vennemeyer, the actual fiddler 0n the roof, and Erich Frank, the wedding clarinet player, each turned in splendid solo spots.
