McNeese University has grown into a college which thrives on a high quality of education. Even though McNeese already has received accreditation in a number of programs, the university is still striving to expand the variety of courses it offers to its stu- dents. Landscaping of the courtyard outside the New Ranch (soon to be known as the Great Lawn), new Sidewalks, the planting of trees and shrubs and a new underground heating and cooling system are among only a few of the other changes around the university grounds.
