In Wednesday’s balloting, the students lected Kim Gaspard, a senior early childhood ducation major from Lake Charles to reign as 1e fourth McNeese State University Spring Jueen and six other women to serve on the pring Court. Reigning with Queen Kim will be senior maids Deborah Hanchey of DeRidder and Mariet Lester of Lake Charles; junior maids Lori Sutton and Eileen Woodhatch of Lake Charles; sophomore maid Mary Kay Pinch of Grand Chenier; and freshman maid Deb Couvillion of Lake Charles. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oran Gaspard and a graduate of Barbe High School; Queen Kim has been a member of Phi Mu sorority, is a Star and Crescent girl for Kappa Sigma Fraternity and has been named to the dean’s list every semester. Miss Hanchey, also an early childhood ma- jor, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene C. Hanchey and is a graduate of Central High School in Baton Rouge, while Miss Lester, a general administration major, is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Archie Lester and a graduate of Barbe High School. Miss Sutton, an accounting major, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William P. Sutton and a graduate of LaGrange Senior High School and Miss Woodhatch, who majors in business management, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Woodhatch and a graduate of Barbe High School. Miss Pinch, an office administration major, |s the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Pinch, Sr., and a graduate of South Cameron High School, while Miss Couvillion, who is majoring in pre-dental hygiene, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Couvillion and a graduate of Barbe High School.
