The purpose of student membership is to provide an op- portunity for professional development of music education students. Student membership also makes it possible for students to further their education through participation in state, division, and national meetings of the organiza- tion and on-campus activities of the chapter. The Catholic Student Center ex- ists to serve the needs of McNeese students. It is a place to meet new friends, grow through sharing, to ask questions and seek answers about one’s faith and commitment to God. CSC provides a place to obtain counseling for problems and a place to go for entertainment. It sponsors many activities, retreats, and has dai- ly mass. The CSC also provides ser- vices and programs for resident students. The official church is Our Lady of Good Counsel and the center and church are located at 221 Aqua Drive. The staff includes Rev.
