Gordon Liddy told a group of 1,200 students, faculty and visitors who attended his lecture March 3, 1982. Liddy, known as the one who never talked during the infamous Watergate hearings, captivated his audience with his somewhat awesome knowledge of the American world today. This com- bined with touches of humor, left most listeners with a definite ad- miration for Liddy. Liddy averages 85 lectures a year on campuses throughout the United States.
