The Horticulture Club is a social and service organiza- tion composed of horticulture majors and other in- terested persons. The main objectives of the club are to improve the campus, to promote our major field of study, and to advance personal development through interaction with other people. Among the projects of the club are working to beautify the campus, participation in Homecoming ac- tivities, helping with Agriculture Day activities and social gatherings during the year. The Wesley Foundation is the United Methodist Church on the McNeese campus. Its purpose is to interpret the faith and doctrines of the church . in terms of the needs and in- terests of the college and com- munity. It provides the oppor- tunity for students to discover more meaning and purpose for their lives through the Christian faith. Its regular events con- sisted of a group . meeting every week for a free supper and chapel. After the service there was a program consisting of an educational, spiritual, in- formative, or entertaining theme. The Wesley Foundation also hosted an Open House Fellowship after each home football game. The officers for the 1981-82 term are: President — David DeWitt Vice President — Karen Holcomb Secretary Treasurer — Jena Cagle Director — Vera Coe The International Student Association is an organization which serves to aid in building friendship and understanding between American and Interna- tional students. It aids foreign students in adjusting to the American culture, tradition and way of life, and © encourages American students to learn as much about the native countries of the foreign students. The association also aids in helping the international students fit into campus life. The activities for this group are mainly social, and they always have a party for the purpose of getting the members acquainted with each other. The membership is open to any McNeese student or faculty member.

The purpose of BSU is probably best described by its activities that in- clude Worship, Churchmanship, Fellowship, Study, Christian Stewardship, Witness, Missions, Ministry, and Social Action.
