Pi Kappa Delta is an honorary fraternal organiza- tion for intercollegiate debaters, individual event competitors, nonclassroom audience speakers and in- structors teaching courses in oral communication. Its pur- pose Is to promote scholar- ship, especially in the field of forensic speaking in senior American colleges and universities. The membership of Pi Kappa Delta is com- posed of men and women united in the ideal of free speech — the art of persua- sion, beautiful and just. The purpose of Tau Ep- silon Kappa is to gain and promote an appreciation for the live stage presentations through the knowledge, ap- plication, and experimenta- tion of technical theatre aesthetics. The Home’ Economics Association is a professional Organization for Home Economics majors. Their goal is to assist members in development in their field and related areas. The association also assists students in becoming § ac- quainted with people who have gained recognition in home economics.
