o A R M Y R O T C ROTC Officers: Center front: LTC Arnold. First row: MA] White, CPT Steel. Second row: Mrs. Pollard. Third row: MSG Green, SSG Griffin, SGM Harges. Orienteering . . . rappelling . .. mountaineering . . . canoe - ing. These are all part of the new image of Army ROTC at McNeese, and it’s called “adventure training.” ROTC cadets spend a great deal of time outside the classroom in all types of hands-on training, putting into practice what they learn in theory in the classroom. This training prepares them both physically and mentally to meet the challenges which they will face as Army officers on active duty or as members of the Reserve Components. Whether or not a student plans to earn a commission in the U.S. Army through ROTC, all of them enjoy the friendly competition and spirit of the corps which adventure training fosters within the Cadet Corps. 316 ¢ Organiza Teas Mrs. Louviere, CPT Taylor, CPT Sivule,
