KA is a fraternity rich in tradition and southern custom; the southern hospitality, the serious reverence for God, and the high respect and love for womanhood. The brothers of the Kappa Alpha Order look to Robert E. Lee for ex- ample, — one who was confident, yet gentle; a leader, yet understand- ing and a man who feared his God and treated others with respect. KA tries to fulfill the individual and prepare him through responsibility, recreation, and most important, a brotherly sense of belonging.
