Alpha Phi Alpha This is the fraternity of Alpha Phi Alpha. A monument of greatness in American Black history, Alpha Phi Alpha was founded on December 4, 1906, at the Ivy League University of Cornell. Since its inception the fraternity has grown to a National prominence and pre juced such leaders as W. E. B. Dubois, Vernon Jordan, Martin L. King, and Andrew Young. This institution has also been instrumental in rights won by Blacks as the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was the product of the successes of an Alpha. The NAACP, National Urban League, and the SLC all have EXCUSE ME IF I'M PRoyp backgrounds that owe in great part to efforts that have been developed by the development of the first black Greek fraternity. The Brothers of Theta Theta are cut much in the same mold as one would expect of Alpha men, as we, as a fraternity, are very civic and social minded. There is no one outstanding individual achievement as the combined efforts of Alpha men make for many achievements, a positive step, and a development in college life. Alpha Phi Alpha is a social fraternity seeking men of high scholastic standards, high moral character, and those looking for personal pro- gress. Theta Theta Chapter invites all interested men to seek growth and awareness at McNeese State University with Alpha Phi Alpha. Brown, Gary Guidry, Nate Holmes, Caulton Hunter, Milton B.
