Alpha Delta Pi is the oldest sorority, founded in 1851. The motto, “We live for each other,” is held dear by every Alpha Delta Pi sister. Each Alpha Delta Pi is different in her own way, each possessing her own specialty. Through respect for each other and activities planned for each other, the ties of sisterhood are pulled even tighter. The Alpha Delta Pi girls are a big part of other campus activities and organizations. They feel that striving towards a stronger bond, includes | reaching out to others.

268 ¢ Greeks Alpha Kappa Alpha Alpha Kappa Alpha is the world’s oldest college-based sorority for Black professional women. Originating in 1908, AKA has maintained its position of high scholastics and “service to all mankind.” Zeta Pi chapter, chartered on December 5, 1971, has also played its part in the attainment of high scholastics and service. In the area of service, Zeta Pi has donated money to the NAACP, the Cleveland Job Corps Center, and the United Negro College Fund. Alpha Kappa Alpha believes that sisterhood, like democracy, is a realistic goal to be strived for constantly.
