26 WHO'S WHO AMONG STUDENTS IN AMERICAN COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES 1. Debra Allen, a vocational : home economics major, is presi- dent of the McNeese Home Eco- nomics Association and secre- tary of Kappa Omicron Phi. She is a graduate of lowa High School. 2. Dalton Ashworth, an accounting major, has been involved with SGA committees, is senior class senator and is in ROTC. He is a graduate of Merry- - ville High. 3. Barbara Batiste, an elemen- tary education major, is a gradu- ate of Boston High. She is a State Board of Education Scholarship recipient and a member of Zeta Phi Beta and the Sacred Heart Catholic Youth Council. 4. Rebecca Bergeaux, a health - and physical education maior, is — a graduate of Jennings High. She is a letterman in basketball, vol- leyball and softball and is in the PEMM and Letterman clubs. 5. Gail Carver is a speech edu- cation major who graduated © from Barbe High. A member of the 1978 MSU homecoming — court, she is active in Chi Omega, Panhellenic, Alpha Psi Omega and the Bayou Players. 6. Dynell Champagne, a gradu- ate of Sam Houston High and a health and physical education major at MSU, is active in the PEMM club and has been a Cow- girl cheerleader since 1977. She also has been chosen as an instructor for the NCAA cheer- leading camp. 7. Melinda Fuller, a nursing major, is a graduate of Merryville High School.
