The initial name of the fra- ternity was Kappa Alpha Nu and was changed to the present name in 1914. The first scholar club was organized at Ohio State University in 1919. The original ten found- ers Guy Grant, Elder Diggs, Byron Armstrong, John Lee, Henry Asher, Marcos Blakemore, Paul Caine, George Ed- wards, Ezra Alexander, and Edward G. Irwin. The chapter had one of its largest pledge classes in history. KS won its fifth consecutive Homecoming Display contest, a total of nine first places being won over a period of eleven years. In addition, we claimed the Spirit Trophy and Spirit Stick Award for the second year in a row. Pledge exchanges with the sororities on campus served to promote inter- Greek relations. As always, the men have enioyed the football parties, Founder's Day, and the Big-Brother-Little Brother Parties. Planned for the Spring are the Annual Brotherhood Retreat to Chicot State Park and the tradi- tional South Sea Island Party.
