Le Le Club Francais, The oldest professional organization on campus, was founded in T939 to provide stimulation and en- ioyment for those students who are in- terested in The French language and culture. The basic goal ot The club is To help students gain proficiency in speak- ing The French language. The French cul- Tural heritage in Louisiana is stressed, and group activities are directed Toward reviving and maintaining appreciation for This heritage.
