MEMBERS FOR 1968-69 Riecke Baumann Bubba Bouquet Daryl Counts Randy Doine Charles Duhon Chick Hawsey Steve Hennigan Terry Johnson Gayle Marshall Paul Martin Ben Mount Taylor Rock Carey Wilson As a service organization for college men sponsored by the Lake Charles Kiwanis Club, the McNeese Circle K Club's purpose is to be of service to the school and community in every possible way. Proiects of the organization this year included such activities as ushering at the McNeese production of Handel's The Mes- siah and the sale and distribution of spirit hats bearing the slogan Sock it to 'em, Cowboys at the football games. The 1968-69 Circle K Sweetheart, Dott Bolzoni, acts as official hostess to the club. During the year club members attended divisional workshops at USL and other inter-club meetings. The school year was closed with an installation banquet held in the spring for club members. ,--0' --pr' State Sen. Jesse Knowles, one of several speakers presented during the year at club meetings, illustrates some of the finer points of Louisiana and national politics.

Active chapters are located on more than two hundred college and university cam- puses, with a total membership in ex- cess of 39,000. The membership is com- posed of men and women united in the ideal of free speech. The Louisiana Eta Chapter of McNeese State College promotes the ideals of the fraternity in two ways. Number one, it sponsors a monthly public forum for the entire student bodyp and number two, it encourages talented students to par- ticipate in the McNeese varsity debate team.
