Pi Mu Epsilon Pi Mu Epsilon is a national honorary mathematics fraternity whose purpose is the promotion of scholarly activity in mathematics among students in aca- demic institutions. Membership in the organization is open to the mathematics faculty as well as to students in the division of pure and applied sciences, or the mathematics education curriculum who are elected on an honorary basis according to their proficiency in mathematics. The Louisiana Epsilon chapter is in its fifth year on the McNeese campus.
