Girl's Physical Education This year we started our year right by knocking the old base- ball around Cand through a few windowsl We played baseball for about a month but we never did get our regular teams.' After baseball came volley-ball. No regular teams here either. But we had a lot of fun. Miss Sherbino, our coach gave us a widely diversified field Of sports.- After volley-ball we played brdminton, table-tennis and other inside games while the weather was too bad to the gym was being fixed. go out and Them we started basket-ball our intra-mural tournament was won by the Junior Team, consisting of Myrl Penrod, June Penrod, Emily Brown, Eleanor Turner, Athena Douros and Mary Payne, Mr Q' Drakulich the boys coach very kindly presented us with prizes, The candy fish and the losers got suckers. the Green Devilesses. Gur uniforms are winners got is Known as suits. Last fall we came very near to having girl's 6 but when we that it was found out we couldn't play anything but no better than track and gave it up. This spring we had more tap-dancing.g We had a good deal of tap-dancing at the first But other sports crowrd it out. We have two girl's Physical Education Groups, Physical Education Group I is composed of the girls Our first team green gym man football touch we decided of the year. I and II. The from the 8th Grade and Freshman class, Group II is composed of the Sophomore, Junior and Senior classes, Group II is never-the-less, the smallest, we gave one party for the football boy's and every body in High School was invited. We served sundaes. Coach Sherbino was unable to attend. Our social activities were confined to that one party. We have had a lot of fun this year and we hope that we will have as much in all the years to come.
