MUSIC DfPARTNENT .This year our department went forward under the direction of Miss Betty Lou Sherbino. She recieved her degree in Music at the University of New Mexico. She is a member of the Alpha Phi Omega, honorary Music and Dramatic fraternity. Our advanced orchestra consists of the following people, who, by the way, have done an excellent job. Dick Brown--Cornet June Penrod--Trumpet Maxine Rose--Cornet Marian Saxton--Trumpet Athena Douros--Clarinet Richard Sutton--Clarinet Frances Clark--Clarinet Leroy Crozier--Saxophone Angel Ruiz--Saxophone Leon Gardner--Saxophone Dick Hand--Trombone John Daley--Drums Buddy Willis--Baritone Miss Sherbino is doing grand work consisting of: Ulban Chavez, Mellophoneg Aurelio Saxophoneg Charles Daniels, Saxophoneg The advanced orchestra plsyed for with her beginning orchestra Duran, Tromboneg Joe Olguin, and George Sandoval,Bass, the primary Halloween party and for several Patriotic Assemblies. The Glee Clubs are also making great progress and have sung several places other than McNary.
