Pepsters Raise Spirit All Year Raising spirit has been the goal of the pep club this year. Pep club is for any girl who par- ticipates in this effort. They do so by wearing blue and white and sitting in the pep section at games, making booster signs for the various ath- letic events, and rooting the teams to victory. Pep club took a major part in planning, promot- ing, and preparing spirit week and they formed a V on the football field before home games. They also contributed to the spirit of the school by giving recognition to athletes by giving them boutonnieres after victories and placing pictures of outstanding athletes in the showcase. Standard uniform for the club this year was a blue and white pants dress. Right: A tense moment for rooters at the Grant-McNary game. Lower: Pep club officers pose proudly beneath the new bleachers.
