Hello, George George Bongiovani, from Argentina, was wel- comed bythe Robert Blensly family and the student body as the 1968- 69 A.F.S. student. As George gained knowledge of America and Ameri- cans we also learned to know him and his coun- try. Chartered in 1968, the McNary American Field Service Chapter held their first fund-rais- ing dinner March 13 of this year. Featured guest speaker, Clay Meyers, presented certificates to A.F.S. students residing in the Salem area. MeNary students se- lected to study abroad for the summer were Janet Moore, Mary Vin- cent, and Donna Zeiner. Left: Welcoming George were Leif, Debbie, and Mrs. Blensly. Not pictured is Mr. Blensly.
