Mr. Eugene lnskeep coached the twenty-eight members of the club. Out- standing players were John Francis, Bob Livcsay, Steve Rehfuss, and Steve Salt. Promoting an interest in mathematics were the fifteen members of the Mc- Nary Math Club. Activities aimed to arouse interest in the National Math Contest included a lecture by Dr. Meier, from the mathemat- ics department of the Uni- versity of Oregon. Planters and Styles f'Serendipity,', the newly crea- ted Home Economics Club, enthusi- astically organized several activities for the last three months of school. t'Daisies Do Tell, an evening style show, was presented May lg funds were raised through a cook book sale, and a potluck held May 20 concluded the year's activities. Biology Club activities pointed towards their trip to Malheur Na- tional Wildlife Refuge, May 23-24. The club sponsored the traditional Planterls Day April ll.
