Seeds in a Dry Podw featured Lance Cooley, Kris Smither, Ben Dake, Cindy Lee, Sandie Schultz, Jeff Wiles, Ron Ol- sen, Jane Sundet, and Diane Martin. The total cast involved about sixty per- formers including Paul Losie's Group, Highlanders, and the Newcomers. The second show included Walter Mittyl' and Ron Ol- sen's original word dance. ln spite of various misfortunes due to illnesses, David and Lisa was able to go on stage May 16 and 17. The play was the only serious all-school play this year. The theme of the play was that concern for others is the most important element in human relations. The story involved Lisa, a girl who would speak only in rhymes, and David, a disturbed boy who was afraid of being touched. Together they helped each other over- come his problem. Suzanne Hawkes and Tom Ulmer played the lead parts of Da- vid and Lisa. Co-leads were portrayed by Cheryl Edgar, Garry Ritchie, and Mike Carnahan.
