YW' wards umerous Last but not least were the words spoken by George Bongiovani as he expressed his thoughts and those of his fellow graduates as they sat through their final assembly. During the Senior Awards Assembly Gary Erick- son was announced Athlete of the Year for his out- standing achievements in high school athletics. Gary participated inl basketball, baseball, and track during his three years at McNary. Judy Berg was honored by the Daughters of the American Rev lution as McNary's outstanding citizen. Girl of the Year, Kay Glennie, and Gary Erickson, Rotarian of the Year, were named for their assorted contributions to McNary. Mrs. Ellen Lowe assisted Mr. Beryl Brodersen in announcing the awards the graduates received.

Dave Bull was voted Rotarian for October, while Kay Hoerauf was named for her leadership. Ron Quimby was chosen Rotarian in November, and Vickie Worden was selected girl of the month for her friendliness. Lower center: Georgia Forgard was chosen for her talent, and Mike Gregg was voted Rotarian for February.
