Pipereffes Snterlain Celtics The Piperettes were a big hit at the annual Christmas assembly in the Celtic gym. Performing a rou- tine that took many long hours to polish, they displayed their unity and co-ordination as they danced to the Jingle Rock. The 1967-68 Piperettes, McNary's drill team, added precision and spirit to the Celtic football and basketball seasons. Advised by Mrs. Ann Dittman, the squad worked many hours to perfect the various routines that added attractiveness to the half-time entertainment, and sparked the Celtic rooters during the bas- ketball season. Members of the Piperettes were: Mary Adams, Marcia Bailey, Sharon Blumenstein, Bev Buckholz, Gloria Cheathem, Laurie Conlin, Cathy Crownover, Judy Gardner, Diane Grogan, Jeannie Hadley, Kay Hardman, Heidi Harrison, Karen Hollin, Pat Kennedy, Lynne Kerber, Sue King, Kathy Kunzman, Jan Leach, Ruby May, Charlotte Mudgett, Carole Needham, Bonnie Norby, Jeannie Orcutt, Linda Palmer, Linda Prideaux, Carol Purcell, Mary Chris Robertson, Linda Secrest, Terri Shearer, Val Valentino, Shirley VanDell, Sharon Visto, Brenda Westfall, Amy Wilson and Dian Wittenberg. 44 The Piperettes worked skillfully and enthusf iastically under the capable leadership of Mrs. Ann Dittman.
