Rotarian, Athlete of Che ear Chosen Hank DeHaan was chosen Athlete of the Year for his achievements in high school athletics. Hank has participated in basketball and track for three years at lVlcNary. He played center on the basketball team for all three years, setting re- bounding and scoring records. He was named to the second tourney team and will play in the all state games in Eugene. Hank was co-captain of the Celtic track team and part- icipated in the shot and discus. Hank's future plans include attending Lower Columbia Junior College for tvvo years and later enrolling at one of the larger Oregon universities. nu- lVlcNary's Rotarian of the Year is student body president, Reed Ritchey. lVluch of Reed's time over the past three years has been taken by German Club, Letterman's Club, National Honor Society, and the Celtic basketball team. Reed was captain of this year's state championship team. His future plans include attending the University of Oregon and joining the Air Force ROTC.
