X 'XN w Time has come again to say farewell. Although we must leave, it is not really ' goodbye. The memories of the laughter, the sorrow. . . the delight, the pain. . . the good times and the bad times. . .will live on .in our lives forever. We take this chance to thank Mike Davis, sponsor of the TOTEM before he left Mc Murry in September, 1976. Our deep appreciation goes to Johnnie Ray who assumed Mike's duties and stood by us through our disappointments and celebrated with us over our triumphs. . Also, we thank our staff photographers Randy Baker, Gary Cloud, Bill Fry, and Cindy Stewart. A special thanks goes to Marilyn Elliger who provided us with some pictures from her collection. I want to take this time to thank my staff--Cathy Core, Lorrie Jameson, and Janet Rinard. They have helped make some dreams and ideas become reality along with tmderstanding the unusual moods of an editor. All of us on the staff hope each of you enjoy the 1977 TOTEM and that some part of it brings to mind a special memory for you.
