New Clubs Welcome Coed Membership Two new Clubs— M Club and Key Club— were organized to comply with the regulations of Title IX which prohibits sex discrimination. Each group accepted both boys and girls into the membership. Open to varsity letter winners, the M Club promoted school spirit. Coaches shared responsibilities in planning various activities which included a Father-Son and Mother-Daughter barbecue. The Key Club—a service organization—was one of the first in the state to include girls in the membership.
