Christmas Mistletoe, snow-covered fir trees, lights, sparkles, and happiness were the decorations for this year's Christmas dance. The event was moved to the gym to accommodate a record attendance and proved a welcome change. It was attended by a large crowd of enthusiastic dance festive students who danced to the music of the 13th Story from Portland. At 10:15, the 1970 Miss Holiday was announced as Moe Bernards. Her court consisted of Beth Bacon, sophomore, and Laura Maloney, junior. Above: Students enjoy an occasional slow dance. Turkey town days arrive Twerp week's theme this year was Turkey Town Days. To carry out the idea there was a different activ- ity set for each day. Monday was called Occupation Day in which students were to dress in the cos- tume their occupation would call for. Tuesday was the day in which students were to dress up astheir favorite celebrity. Wednesday was Senior Power Day where the seniors had the rule over all. Thursday was Wild West Day where students came as cowboys or Indians. Of course the week was topped off by the fantastic annual faculty barbecue. Pictured at top are some cowboys and cowgirls.
