Jesperson, Mac High Junior, who was killed in an unfortunate accident on January l8, l959. Roy had outstanding ability in athletics. He was selected to the TYV League All-Star football team, and was chosen as a member of the All- State second string football team. Roy was also a good student. A trophy, The Jesperson Memorial, is being sponsored by the Junior Class in memory of Roy. Each year, it will be awarded to the outstanding Junior toot- ball player ofthe year.
