Bill Worrell’s duties as ASB prexy include presiding over all Student Council meetings and heading all student activities for the school year. As vice-president of the student body, Bob Jack-man’s obligations include the planning of the year’s assemblies and taking charge of A'SB ticket sales plus filling in for the president in case of his absence. Secretary Martha Carlson’s main job is keeping an accurate record of all Student Council meetings and ASB affairs. She is also in charge of the distribution of student body cards and picture sales. Continuing the clean-up campaign and supporting the activities calendar constitutes the duties of Sergeant-at-Arms Gordon Baty. “Will the meeting please come to order?” This was the order of the day every second and fourth Wednesday when President Bill Worrell called the Student Council meetings to order. Among the projects carried on by the council during the year was revising certain sections of the constitution. Sections under revision concerned an ASB treasurer, McMinnvillan cost, wrestling awards, GAA awards and junior varsity recognition. Homecoming was another big project of the council. They also led a discussion at the regional council conference and organized the March of Dimes campaign. The Student Council roll contains the names of one representative for each fifteen students.
