Freshman Class Ihlvtofy On September 4, 1957, thirty-two students entered the doors of McLuney High School to begin their freshman year. During the semester we lost Renna Rose, and in December we gained Barbara Blagg, still leaving a total of thirty-two students. Our class advisor was Mr, Frame. We chose the following officers: President - Judy Allardg Vice-President - Marie Reedg Secretary - Donna Tolleyg Treasurer - Leon Penrodg News Reporter - Paul Weiner. We had six boys on the basketball team and Marie Reed was one of the reserve cheerleaders. We had four members in the girls' glee club and two members in the band. Freshman Class FIRST ROW: Bill Estep, Paul Weiner, Truman Pittman, Kenny Calwell, Gary Hurst, Alvle Reed, Donald Smith, Charles Dennis. Sophomore Class Iistory On September 4, 1956, thirty-nine students entered the doors of McLuney as freshmen. Our advisor was Mr. Frame. The class officers were: President - Patty Murphy: Vice-President - lean Sidwellg Secretary - Dianne Channel, Treasurer - Gaynell Wyerg News Reporter - Wanda Yoder. During the year we lost Max Willison, but gained Mary Lou Parker and Ronnie Snider. We had five boys on the basketball team. In May we had a swimming party at Burr Oakj On september 4, 1957, we came back with thirty-seven students. Our advisor was Mr, Wolfe. We elected the following class officers: President - Jean Sidwellg Vice-President - Sue Parkerg Secretary - Patty Murphy, Treasurer - Marilyn Russell, News Reporter - Loretta Tracy. During the summer we lost Dean Bateson, Eddie McCabe, Sue Storrs, and Ronnie Snider. In October Dick Gruey entered our class. We had a reserve cheerleader, Dianne Channel. We had a bake sale to earn money. Sophomore Class FIRST RCWW: Charles Cherry, Tony Burton, Tommy Allen, Gale Smith, David Russell, Roger Eveland, Wayne Kelly.
