RTHDBY Bulldoe HiSTOI'Y Believe it or not over 60 years ago circus elephants, ferocious tigers, and high-prancing horses once paraded upon the grounds that now support McLoughlin Jr. High. Yes its true, MAC's campus was once used by a visiting circus company. When McLoughlin was built in 1926, it served as Medford's only High School, then Med- ford High School, and the East gym fthe girls gyml was once the only gym in Medford. Later, when South High was built MAC became .itll known by its present McLoughlin Jr. High - Home of the BULLDOGSX' Tragedy struck McLoughlin on June 30, 1964 when a fire swept tic and roof of the entire south wing of MAC.
