Although there are many worthwhile things we have not yet done, we are started in the right direction, the pursuit of Education. Education follows a definite pattern, moving always toward a definite goal- Liberty. It bridges the great distance between slavery and freedom. Men pursue it because it elevates them from the lower levels of ignorance to the pinnacles of knowledge, from a life of selfishness to a life of service. For it our nation and states are spending many millions of dollars, knowing full well the necessities of our changing world. Let us think, as ws are preparing for life, that time should not be spent but invested. This investment, if invested wisely, will yield many great and useful returns.
