CLASS POEM Harvey Ape r--tall, debonair-- Never seems to have a care. LeRoy Burden we give to you His western ways and horses, too. Miss Sue Davis, a popular lass. Moves from high school to college class. There's Verna Fields, everyone's pal. Who's always fun and a helpful gal. Junior Foley, an all-round good guy To those who don't know him is quiet and shy. Storm Garr--tall, soft-spoken-- Many's the test tube he has broken. Carolyn Haning is carefree and gay; May she always stay that way. Roger Johnson, a fine athlete Whose life with out sports is incomplete. While Daral Leach is a sure bet To turn out quite a westerner yet. Loretta Loercher steps quite high And twirls her baton as the band goes by. Geraldine Miller, with hair of blonde-- Of this short lass, we all are fond. Gary Peifer in his old car Will always continue to go far. Carolyn Swan, a smart lass. Strives for A's in every class. Jeanette Nelson, a well known lass, Came in last of all to each class. Lloyd Rousey has continued to be The Colts' great manager constantly. Sharon Runge, full of vim, Cheers the boys on to win. Charlotte Schumm, a nice farm gal. To students and teachers has been a real pal. Connie Shaffer, our model to be, Got sidetracked by Homer, you see. Without Jerry Starkey what would we do? He helps with anything, that's true. Sherri Taylor in the band did play In hope for poise and fame some day. Pat Terrell, who rides so well of course. Is not at home without a horse. Sharon Van Hoosier is quiet and mellow Because she is always thinking of some sergeant fellow Beverly Watkins whom we all know. Seldom forgets, to Clinton to go.
