MBS. M9935 Despite the many problems our cafeteria sys- tem has been confronted with this year, Mrs. Moats and her staff have as usual performed beautifully. Aiming to please every student, they have continually prepared excellent va- rieties of dishes. As any student can tell you, they have given the cafeteria a pleasant atmos- phere, despite the mass of people that eat at each lunch period. Again June arrives, and a class leaves in the solemnity of graduation ceremonies. These seniors were outstanding students who achieved recognition for their leadership, their scholarship, and their service to the school. Through their efforts, tradition has been more firmly established to provide a heritage for the rising classes to follow. In each person's heart there are special souvenirs which will endure always: The excitement of a football game on a crisp day in early fall . . The enchantment of an orchestra's melodies at the first formal dance . . The color of tremendous dramatic productions on the school stage . . The mirth of a hilarious costume ball . . . The spirit of the school-Wide magazine drive . . . The blooming of fresh spring activities after the cold winter . . The sweetness of a tropical evening for the Prom . . . The memories of all the activities shared bind the school into oneness at the end of the year. The activities are the school, the school is the classes, the classes are the students, and the students are the activities. It is a cycle which exists because people are human, and because they are interested in other things and in other people. Like a little world,' the school revolves in an orbit of friendliness, honor, and pride. Tradition has set up high ideals which posterity must keep.
