Frac icing not a in 100 s the school year slowly end- ed students knew that sum- mer was just around the cor- ner which called for parties and trips to the lake. For some, the IM- PACT of it meant they were search- ing for a job. Summer was a good time to meet people from different places and backgrounds. When summer began almost all worries and stress were gone and the agony of homework had van- ished. lt was also a sad time as stu- dents missed their schoolmates. The reality that summer had fi- nally arrived was evident as we fre- quented the pools when the daily weather reached over the 100 de- gree mark. The IMPACT of summer shop- ping sprees was such that we were digging through our closets to see what we had to begin the school year with. Running into friends and catching up on the familiar gossip was always one of the highlights of eve1yone's summer. lt was a fun summer that began good and ended great. We knew we were going to miss the great night- life and seven day weekends. The weekends had a super IM- PACT on us. They would never be the same: cruising Blackstone and the Light House were the cheapest ways to have fun.
