It has participated in tournaments at Fresno High, Bakersfield High School and other valley high schools. The students have won five awards. Margaret Watkins won the county championship in the Voice of Democracy Contest. the oratorical interpretation contest at the San Joaquin Memorial High School Tournament and she and Milt Latta won debate at the Bakersfield Tournament.
