The National Honor Society fsponsored by Mrs. Pat Burton and Mr. Tim Nellerl is known for their leadership of the stu- dent body and their scholastic capabilities. This year the N.H.S. has spon- sored the most successful paper drive at McLain and before the Christmas holidays, the mem- bers went to Christian Nursing Home and provided the resi- dents with joyous Christmas Spirit. While these are just a few of the things that they have done this year, the McLain National Honor Society has contributed greatly to the unity of McLain High School. When there are new students, coun- selors send for the welcoming committee members and intro- duce them to new students coming to McLain. We show them the building and gener- ally made them feel welcome, as members of the Welcome Mat .
